The Cadillac CTS-V remains so far almost unchanged since its launch in 2009 when it proved to be the fastest production sedan on the Nurburgring-Nordschelife. With GM Performance engineer John Heinricy behind the wheels the CTS-V sedan lapped the German "Green Hell" in 7:59.32. The most powerful CTS is powered by a LSA 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine estimated at 564 HP and a 747 Nm torque. The Sedan and Coupe accelerate from rest to 100 km/h in 4 seconds, while the Sport Wagon takes only a tenth of a second more.
